MOTHER EVE

First there was Adam.

Then Eve.

She was taken from him; she owed her existence to him.

Here is a divine irony.

Without the man, there would be no woman.

But from that time forward the woman would become the bearer of life to all men and women.

This was a high honour.

Yet it was more than this: it was an elegant foreshadowing of the great restitution to come.

The Gospel-Age Church was brought to life by Christ Jesus, whose death on the cross had purchased her for his wife and knit her into a unified Body of believers.
And she will in the Millennial Kingdom on earth become the mother of all those who choose life over death. A second Eve. Such a high honour will be to her everlasting tribute. – AP
