C. T. RUSSELL ON THE IMMORTAL SOUL
C. T. Russell, The At-One-Ment Between God and Man
(Brooklyn: IBSA; 1913), p. 307.
‘The Bible nowhere says, either directly or indirectly, that a piece,
part or spark of God’s being is imparted to every human creature.
This is a baseless assumption of those desiring to construct a theory,
and are short of material for it.
And this baseless hypothesis . . . has
been made the basis of many false doctrines, grossly derogatory to God’s
character disrespectful to divine wisdom, justice, love and power.’
